Job description

Are you passionate about patient recruitment and have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry? Would you like to work in a global community focused on improving our world through better access to clinical research for all?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our sales team here at Trialbee as a Director of Business Development. The candidate should have experience selling patient recruitment solutions and ideally be located in the US, or if based in Europe would need to support accounts in the US timezone.

Trialbee works with a variety of customers and partners, across countries in Europe and in the US. Trialbee is driving global clinical trial enrollment by using SaaS platforms to enroll clinical trials on a global scale. Our flagship SaaS-based solution, Trialbee Honey, tracks all recruitment activities while optimizing enrollment with real-time analytics.

The Role

The role of Director of Business Development is responsible for opening up new global pharma strategic accounts and CROs and expanding and growing business at existing strategic accounts. The individual is also responsible for bringing in new logos and expanding sales from within an assigned territory of small to mid-sized companies. The individual will be responsible for the full sales cycles (prospecting --> close). The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a “hunter” mentality, proficiency in the use of sales systems to support prospecting, an enthusiastic and tenacious personality, and the ability to effectively articulate complex solutions including both software and professional services to a diverse range of stakeholders.
