Job description
This position entails serving as a Test Engineer supporting our ServiceNow development team. The individual will collaborate closely with the development team to grasp new requirements offer insights and direction for quality assurance considerations update existing test cases and create new ones to ensure comprehensive test coverage for fresh and revised functionalities. The role involves automating these test cases using ServiceNows ATF capabilities performing release testing to ensure software confidence before deployment and providing production support for deployments and user assistance.
The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and assurance skills and a deep understanding of ServiceNow and its Automated Test Framework (ATF). They should be adept at comprehending team directions working independently to accomplish assigned tasks assisting the team in prioritizing new requirements and technical debt from the backlog and mentoring others in the team on proper quality assurance practices.
MustHaves:
Extensive experience in developing testing and/or supporting ServiceNow installations.
Proficiency in creating executing and maintaining tests with ATF.
Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance.
Ability to lead teams in enhancing quality practices and outcomes.
Strong problemsolving and critical thinking abilities.
Capability to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated experience in selfresearch and information seeking.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to assess communicate mitigate and escalate risks when necessary.
