About the Role & Team

Disney’s Direct to Consumer team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere. The Disney+ Programming and Content Curation team is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.

What You Will Do

Reporting into the Director, Editorial Strategy & Content Programming, the Senior Manager, Editorial Strategy & Content Programming will be responsible for supervising and developing high impact, curated global programming strategies that promote The Walt Disney Company brands and franchises. They will lead and develop Disney+ editorial programming go-to-market plans for titles, seasonal and cultural moment campaigns, and company tentpoles, including establishing relationships with key partners such as Studios, Marketing, Data, Finance, Sales, Franchise, and Brand. Additionally, they will maintain and evolve workflows, evaluate business needs, and advance campaign strategies. The Senior Manager will also leverage takeaways from global markets and serve as a subject matter authority for on-service activities. As a central cross-functional liaison for internal teams, their focus will be on driving the development of global in-service programming activations to improve user engagement and retention.

Education

The hiring range for this position in CA is $123,000.00 to $165,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
