Provide operations analysis support to Special Operations Forces (SOF) consisting of lifecycle unit-specific support in accordance with DOD policies, instructions, and regulations.
The technician provides operational and threat awareness and familiarization briefings, collaborates and coordinates with DOD organizations and other government agencies in support of program strategic outreach objectives, requirements, and tasks. Performs identity assessments and provides mitigation recommendations. Conducts operational overwatch and develops mission-specific risk levels and reporting criteria for missions and personnel. Drafts, coordinates, and promulgates threat management plans. Coordinates with external organizations to enhance support to the customer by sharing and gathering current information on situations, intelligence cyber threats, lessons learned, emerging technology, data mapping, and other factors affecting ubiquitous technical surveillance threat mitigation. Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current and future SOF mission requirements to identify the best current and emerging resources regarding technology. Conduct adversarial threat analysis to evaluate and assess risks to operations and personnel.
