Job description
Why We Need Your Talents:
The Events & Communications Specialist is responsible for planning, producing, and overseeing the execution of internal Team Member events and celebrations for Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland.
Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Plan community volunteer calendar.
- Assist with organizing volunteer opportunities.
- Designs TM volunteer communications.
- Sets up and monitors volunteer registrations.
- Communicates and coordinates with all volunteers providing service details.
- Logs TM volunteer hours.
- Updates Live! In the Community Wall info.
- Monitors and reviews all donation requests and presents for approval.
- Intakes and produces all gift certificate requests for MD and Philly.
- Executes all sponsorship agreements and ensures that all assets are received and provided.
- Plan DEI calendar.
- Design press/community invites.
- Maintains sponsorship, volunteer, and tax info spreadsheets.
- Process invoices and help maintain checkbook.
- Oversees promotional product inventory.
- Assist with all media events, media requests and PR initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.

Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand 50% of the time.
- Ability to sit 50% of the time.
- Ability to lift up to lift 50 lbs.
