1st Shift:
Saturday - Tuesday; 10 hour shift
About the role:
Provide electro-mechanical support and deployment to production and non-production equipment. Daily activities include troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment issues and the deployment of new systems reducing downtime and ensuring FDA/ISO compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment utilizing technical software/machine control knowledge
- Install, configure, and test production hardware, software, and equipment per departmental and site-level procedures.
- Define and perform preventative maintenance procedures on equipment
- Record maintenance activities in a computerized machine maintenance system.
- Query databases and generate production reports
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to equipment
- Provide training to other technicians.
- Source and procure additional functional resources as needed.
- Assist engineers in defining maintenance requirements for new technologies and equipment through policies, procedures, and training.
- Update production computers for security and virus protection
- Interact cross-functionally with IT on new hardware and software, machine upgrades, and AD account management.
- Knowledge of machine control systems, PC, PLC, motion control devices, basic electronics-electrical skills, etc.
- Ability and experience reading blueprints.
- Computer Systems literacy is a must along with applications like Microsoft Office.
- A strong mechanical aptitude is a must.
- IT, Industrial computer system maintenance, and repair knowledge.
- Machine networking and server/client networking experience.
- Provide training to other personnel as needed.
- Participate in special projects such as PC migration, programming PLCs, backup images,
- Provide support to legacy equipment
- Work cross-functionally with Mfg, Ops, and Engineering in support of equipment, compliance, issue resolution, and best practice implementations.
Required qualifications:
- 3 years with an AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
Preferred qualifications:
- PLC Troubleshooting experience
- Troubleshooting and computer repair experience
