Overview
CubeSmart is currently seeking a Project Manager of Real Estate Development to join the Real Estate Development team at our corporate office in Malvern, PA. The Project Manager of Real Estate Development will be responsible for the oversight of development and redevelopment projects for the company.
ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager of Real Estate Development supports the Real Estate Development team by managing projects from concept creation through the beginning of construction. The role requires analytical and problem-solving skills. It also requires strong communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Reviews market feasibility reports.
- Reviews project construction documents to verify conformance with CubeSmart’s New Development Standards.
- Maintains CubeSmarts New Development Standards.
- Communicates effectively with various design professionals.
- Reviews and Negotiates contracts with various design professionals.
- Takes on additional special projects or department responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
- 2+ years of Project Management experience.
- Ability to travel up to 10-20%
- The ability to read and understand Construction Documents.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to communicate with all levels of the CubeSmart team and business partners.
- Must have strong computer skills; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Adobe Acrobat.
- Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines.
- Detail oriented; organized; ability to perform duties with high level of accuracy.
- Must have a positive attitude and a strong customer service mentality.
- Able to work independently.
