Salary : $50-58K DOE (benefits, time off, etc.)
Requirements :
1.) Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience).
2.) 2+ years of recent professional experience in payroll and the restaurant industry.
We are a professional employer organization (PEO) that works exclusively with the restaurant industry. Due to recent growth, we are seeking a talented Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This position requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) and 2+ years of recent professional experience in payroll and the restaurant industry.
Position Overview: The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll for all restaurant company employees and for ensuring compliance with wage and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner for all restaurant company employees.
- Ensure compliance with all wage and tax regulations.
- Audit payroll-related documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with the development and implementation of payroll solutions.
- Provide customer service to employees regarding payroll-related issues.
- Prepare accurate payroll reports.
- Assist with the reconciliation of payroll accounts.
- Process terminations and severance packages.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of recent professional experience in payroll and the restaurant industry.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of payroll and wage and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll-related software applications.
