Role Overview:
The Event Planner, Field Marketing will be a collaborative member of the Americas team positioned to support sales. This role will be instrumental in delivering an exceptional Bose Professional experience through a wide range of events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for planning first class events with a customer first mindset and experience working cross functionally with different stakeholders, both internally and externally, in a fast-paced environment. Experience developing, defining and tracking event KPIs along with crafting post event reports is a plus.
Responsibilities: - Plan and manage 25-30 events annually to include industry tradeshows, internally hosted events and partner events in conjunction with the Americas sales team
- Lead all event logistics to include but not limited to contract negotiations, vendor management, venue selections, housing arrangements, transportation, budget management, food & beverage, AV
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to determine event needs and serve as main point of contact throughout the planning process
- Provide onsite assistance as needed to also include set-up and tear down
- Develop and maintain planning timelines for events, providing regular updates to management
- Work with channel marketing to promote events and assist sales with creating event marketing assets
- Prepare and manage event budgets
- Define and measure event KPIs, create post-event reports to highlight outcomes

- Experience negotiating contacts and managing vendors and creative agencies

- 3 – 5 years experience, BA/BS degree or similar college level education; business, marketing, communications concentration
- Ability to travel as needed
Location: This role is a potential remote opening. For anyone local, this hybrid role will be based in our Bose Professional headquarters in Framingham, Massachusetts, currently set at 3-days a week on-site. For anyone based elsewhere, it will be remote.
