Job description
Missions For The Nations Ministry in Conway, SC is looking for one toddler/preschool teacher to join our 27 person strong team. We are located on 1639 Dunn Shortcut Rd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.
Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Have relevant experience with Toddler/preschool children
- Must meet background clearance requirements and TB test
- Must have a warm and friendly personality, be able to relate well to children, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the Missions for the Nations Ministry program and philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Supervises all activities where children are involved to ensure safety at all times.
- Helps with the general housekeeping tasks and maintains a neat and organized classroom.
- Create and lead enrichment activities that are age appropriate in an atmosphere where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences enhancing the social, physical, and academic advancement of children in his/her care.
- Treats all children, parents, staff, & leadership with dignity and respect.
- Participates in all staff meetings, recommended training programs, conferences, courses, and other aspects of professional growth, maintaining current knowledge of early childhood practice.
- Implement lesson plans, materials and equipment for instructional activities daily
- Helps children establish good habits of personal hygiene.
- Be punctual. We follow the Horry County School calendar for closure days and for the inclement weather delays or closures.
- Reports to the leader any problem which may occur with the children.
- Performs additional program duties as assigned by the leader according to the Missions for the Nations Ministry needs.
- Greets children, parents, staff & leadership with salutations and smiles.
- Maintains a professional attitude and loyalty to the Missions for the Nations Ministry and affiliates at all times.
- Works well with other staff members to form a positive, supportive team atmosphere
