Job description

Lawn Doctor is looking for individuals dedicated to providing high-quality, customer-focused lawn care services to join our team as Lawn Care Technicians. Our Lawn Care Technicians are customer-facing brand ambassadors. They treat lawns with top quality, environmentally sensitive products, aerate lawns, perform shop work, and offer appropriate new services to customers and prospects while in the field.

If you enjoy working outdoors; being out on your own with little direct supervision, and would like a chance to change the world one lawn at a time, we’d love to talk with you. 

This is a perfect position for an existing Spray Technician who wants a little more work life balance. Our base of operations is in the Winter Garden / Clermont area. Our technicians typically work 40-45 hours a week, Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm. We aim to have every weekend off, and you home by dinner every day. 

Must haves:

• Previous Lawn Fertilizer Technician Experience Required
• Honesty, integrity, and strong work ethic
• Ownership and pride of a work completed
• Good attitude and be able to interact with customers and their property respectively at all times
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working outdoors and in various weather conditions
• Have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate machinery and drive large vehicles
• Ability to meet production goals
• Be able to lift 50 pounds
• Pass a drug test and background check

What you'll get:

• Continuous on the job training
• Competitive salary ($19-$25/hour)
• $1,000 Bonus after 90 days
• 1 week (40 hours) of paid flex time after 90 days
• Holiday pay for at least 10 holidays (we try to shut down and pay out the last 2 weeks of the year)
• Health insurance reimbursement of $100 for single or $200 for family
• Commission for sales in the field and referrals
• Tip$ (from us) for good reviews/feedback by customers
• Work shirts, hats, and personal protective equipment

 

 

Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
