Ornua Foods North America Inc. seeks Account Manager, Costco in Evanston, IL. Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Generate and implement a strategic business plan aligned to overall customer strategic plan.
- Act as primary selling interface at customers' headquarters calling on key decision makers.
- Sell new and expanded distribution of Kerrygold items to Costco.
- Identify opportunities to grow volume/increase share with Costco.
- Provide Sales leaders with account intelligence and recommendations for effective planning and programming.
- Develop and implement Costco-specific marketing and promotional programs.
- Achieve planned objectives on sales and spending in key customers and conduct post-promotion analysis.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with Costco and provide effective communication between relevant Ornua and Costco teams.
- Champion multi-functional resources to successfully implement brand / category strategies.
- Improve and enhance customer experience and service.
- Domestic and international travel required approximately 15% of the time.
- Telecommuting permitted anywhere within the United States.
Key Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Marketing or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the position offered or related position within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, including 3 years of experience with:
- developing and fostering collaborative relationships with key distribution stakeholders and implementing strategic sales account operating plans;
- working with syndicated data within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry;
- influencing, selling, and negotiating products within the CPG industry;
- applying knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies within the CPG industry;
- applying supply chain knowledge in the food and/or dairy industry to forecast sales and monitor inventory levels of products to ensure sufficient inventory at all times.
