Senior Store Support Specialist

Akron - Ohio

Primary Purpose:

The Senior Store Support Specialist works under the direction of Store Support Manager. Works closely with Compliance, Equipment Repair, and EHS managers. Operational owner of Liability Claim management. Works closely with the Store Support team to close gap in inventory management, vendor compliance and audit compliance.  Actively participates in the retail equipment procurement and repairs process and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

• In charge of Liability Claim Management.  Work closely with EHS manager to decrease Liability Claims through policy enforcement, process improvement and constant communication. Manage Liability Claim database and communicate results to the field on monthly basis
• Manage compliance, review and implement special programs with unsatisfactory and needs improvement audits. Follow up with store manager/district manager and oversee results. Lead policy reviews and manage updates in the ROM and Go Retail to reflect changes. Communicate updated policies through communications to the field. Work closely with Parts Administrator to understand and streamline the current process
• Manage License & Permit database and reopenable of ALL license permits related activities including but not limited to: Applying for new license & Permits, renewals and fines etc. Benchmarks against current fines/fees and create guidelines for store managers to minimize/eliminate liabilities.
• Miscellaneous: Manage equipment database. Actively learn all procurement activities that fall under facility responsibility. Partner with Store Support Manager to oversee compliance. Work with the Store Support team to answer resolve help desk tickets to maintain 95% KPI target.
• Work closely with other team members and Store Support Analyst to formulate/review reports and suggest cost saving initiative.

Education & Certifications

• Associate degree or in lieu of degree 5 years of equivalent experience in a related field

Experience

• 5 years of experience in Store (Field) Operations and Administration
• Experience in managing projects and the ability to track and report project goals/milestones on an ongoing basis,

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• Ability to use Project Management Software and prepare presentations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work and interface with all levels of Management (within the Retail Team)
