What’s a typical day as a Fin Clipper? You’ll be:
• Performing routine fish identification duties, including fin clipping, coded-wire tagging, body tagging, and other required markings.
• Assisting in the cleaning and sanitizing of work areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and other employee areas.
• Assisting the lead/hatchery staff in various duties such as quality inspection, trailer setup, and fish transfer.
• Administering employment paperwork to new hires, including employment applications and I-9 forms.
• Receiving training as necessary.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have experience or knowledge in fish identification techniques.
• Are detail-oriented and have a strong attention to accuracy.
• Can follow instructions closely and work well in a team.
• Are comfortable with cleaning and sanitizing work areas.
• Have the ability to administer employment paperwork.
