- Cohort 2 - Midday and early afternoon hours.
- Cohort 3 - Early afternoon and evening hours.
Forsyth Seafood Market and Café is now recruiting high-level restauranters ready to plug into a solid system and grow their careers! The Server/Wait Staff position is a fantastic opportunity for the right people willing to join a great team! Heavy scratch kitchen environment and a big emphasis on people and culture!
Server/Wait Staff Expectations:
- Positive and forward-focused.
- Proficient customer service skills.

- Attendance, prompt clock-ins, and limited unexcused absences.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with computers and technology.

- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness at register stations and tables.
- Greet customers entering and leaving the business.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Accurately process all cash and credit payments using the POS system.
- Oversee customer order completion.
- Assist and report customer complaints to management immediately.
- Delivering curbside orders
- Basic mathematical skills
- Attention to detail.
- High level of integrity and dedication
Server/Wait Staff Qualifications:
- No short tenures – must have 3+ years in hospitality or restaurant role.
- Experience in high-volume restaurants is a must.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- Very hands-on and able to engage with leadership – not for timid personalities.
- Passion for people, food, and collaborating with others.
- Customer Service knowledge – guest and company employees.
- Strong leadership qualities with a desire to develop and grow in the food industry.
- Promotable and a history of stable tenure is a must.
Preferences
- Serious culinary candidates who enjoy the restaurant industry.
- Professional demeanor and enjoys the restaurant business.
- Strong focus on business processes and teamwork
- Strong Interest in food service
- Candidates with 3+ years of experience in the restaurant industry.
- Culinary students who want to grow their careers in the food industry.
- Serve Safe certification (not required but encouraged).
