Job description

Educational Testing Consultants, Inc. is seeking contract instructors to teach Summer Bridge Math classes to be held in partnership with Western Kentucky University. Successful candidates will possess previous teaching experience and a willingness to work weekdays in the summer. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Class sessions cover middle school math skills and are presented using PowerPoint modules in conjunction with other virtual resources and paper handouts. The course materials have been created by experienced curriculum designers, so no curriculum development will be required with the position.

Contract instructors are typically offered 3 courses per summer, with each course consisting of 12 face-to-face hours of classroom instruction during a single week. Each course is compensated at $500.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver instruction for an existing curriculum.
• Keep and submit accurate attendance records.
• Complete occasional online training. 
• No curriculum development is required.

Qualifications:

• Experience with teaching.
• Proficiency in middle school math skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Job Type: Contract Instructor.

Pay Rate: $500/12-hour class.

Schedule: Weekdays in summer.
