Position Overview
The qualified Study Director (SD) will join a team of world-class professionals in both imaging and contract research services. Under the supervision of senior management, you will work on external and internal research projects that utilize TVI’s advanced 3D tissue imaging systems and advanced tissue analyses. In the role of a SD, you will serve as the primary interface between TissueVision’s contract research division and our research Sponsors to help generate solutions to novel scientific problems that lead to new therapeutics.
Responsibilities
Communicate with the internal team and external research Sponsors to plan, execute, and finalize imaging studies
Contribute to the application and development of imaging assays incorporating multiplexed IHC and ISH analyses and the latest advanced spatial biology approaches
Work closely with the business development team to help develop larger strategic goals
Author and review protocols, reports, white papers, and scientific papers
Required Qualifications
B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline with 5-7/ 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in histology, imaging, or related field
Experience working in a CRO under a GLP or GLP-like environment
Ability to maintain strict compliance with all SOPs, rules, and regulations
Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with molecular or proteomic imaging
Experience with 3D imaging and modeling
Experience with confocal or multiphoton microscopy
Experience with image analysis such as ImageJ and Python image analysis packages
