Who you are:
Our Team, Global Procurement, focuses on providing industry leading Procurement Operations and Strategic Sourcing on a global scale at Rubrik. As Global Procurement's sole Contracts Negotiator, you will negotiate and facilitate the completion of vendor contracts while establishing relationships cross-functionally with our Procurement, Legal, Data Privacy, InfoSec, Marketing, Engineering, IT, and People teams among others. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Procurement Operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with global teams including Marketing, Engineering, IT, Facilities and HR, in negotiating supplier agreements for the purchase of indirect goods and services
- Support and partner with Legal and Strategic Sourcing Managers to assess supplier agreements and strategically negotiate with Rubrik vendors
- Advise on risks and liabilities of proposed purchasing transactions and redline appropriately
- Provide advice and guidance around commercial and legal terms of supplier agreements to ensure Rubrik receives quality products and services with minimal risk and preferred pricing
- Execute contracts by coordination and consolidation of requirements/provisions from applicable partners (i.e. Privacy, InfoSec, Sourcing Managers, etc.)
- Execute heavy volume of contracts in a fast-paced environment
- Develop and implement agreements templates, playbooks, best practices, and training initiatives to support our evolving functional teams
- Evaluate and develop improvements to the purchasing process, contracts, and policies
What we're looking for: - 3+ years of negotiating commercial contracts
- Strong understanding of both commercial and legal terms in master agreements and statements of work
- Experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of purchase contracts including Statements of Work, Master Service Agreements, Professional Service Agreements, Order Forms, etc., with strong attention to detail
- Experience with SaaS, software licenses, event-related contracts, and professional services contracts
- An enthusiastic problem-solver with a collaborative mindset and experience in building and improving business partner relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience operating in a high-growth technology company
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Word; experience with Zip a plus
- BS, Juris Doctor Degree a plus
The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US Pay Range
$109,600-$164,400 USD
