Learning Services , A Collage Rehabilitation Partner is looking for a Part Time Weekend Shift Coordinator and Behavior Technican for our Creedmoor, NC programs . Learning Services is a growing organization dedicated to excellence, honesty and ethics in the treatment of our clients and each other. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

The Shift Coordinator supervises neurobehavioral counselors/techs and participates in observing, reporting and recording of client behaviors while under the direct supervison of the Behavior Program Coordinator and responsible to the Nurse Manager. Share responsibility with the Charge Nurse for providing a safe and secure unit environment for all clients and staff. Must be in compliance with center policies and procedures.
Major Functions:
- Coordinates all unit activities, provides direct feedback to neurobehavioral Counselors/Techs regarding client care and implementation of Transdiscipinary Plans.
- Observes, reports and records client's behavior providing modeling for neurobehavioral counselors/techs and feedback to the Behavior Program Coordinator as requested.
- Assists in the delivery of physical care as needed. Provides training to neurobehavioral counselors/techs as needed.
- Assists in the treatment and rehabilitation of neuralgic, psychiatric and chemically dependent clients in accordance with the Transdisciplinary Team treatment plan, unit philosophy and program policies.
- Demonstrates ability and willingness to learn new procedures and develop new skills
- Maintains a professional and ethical code of behavior
- Works with other staff in teaching and developing skills and groups.
- Works independently with minimal follow-up from direct supervisor
- Leads and co-leads groups as necessary, providing feedback and training if NBT's lead or co-lead groups.
- Assists in the maintenance of the unit environment regarding in compliance with policies for safety and security Ensures that environmental checks are completed.
- Attends mandatory in-services which will be reviewed by the Neurobehavioral Coordinator and deemed necessary by the Nurse Manager.
- Is required to meet light to moderate physical demands.
- Attends all staff meetings as scheduled.
- High School graduate and/or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Prefer 3-5 years of experience with brain injury and/or behavioral management
