Job description

 

The position plays a key role in Cone Health's corporate-wide financial planning activities, including quarterly forecasting, scenario modeling and multiyear strategic planning. In addition this position performs analysis of Cone Health?s operations and provides information and recommendations that increases the understanding of key business drivers, improves the planning process, and informs strategic decision-making.

Maintains advanced knowledge of the financial computer systems and serves as a resource to leadership, finance staff and others in their understanding of the transaction processing and reporting from these systems.
Responsible for maintaining forecast scenarios for multiple divisions and for supporting the operational finance team by facilitating quarterly meetings with key partners to develop assumptions for each quarterly forecasting cycle, including detailed documentation of key assumptions.
Ensure the accuracy of the financial models, analyze and interpret financial results for multiple divisions, provide recommendations to the divisional finance leaders, and complete scenario modeling for strategic decision making
Proactively develops new tools to meet customer and departmental needs. Provides recommendations that enhance net revenue or provide opportunity to improve expense utilization.
Support the continuous financial planning process by assisting with the development of pro formas, schedules, analysis and recommendations necessary for leaders to make decisions to meet organizational goals.
Develop and deliver the Cone Health financial training curriculum using available training materials and techniques and proactively work to develop materials and techniques that meet customer needs. Training customers include, and are not limited to, finance staff and leaders.


 

EDUCATION:

Required:
Bachelors degree in business, accounting, finance or similar field
Preferred: Masters degree in business, accounting, finance or similar field

 

EXPERIENCE:

Required:
4 years relevant experience
Preferred:
Multi-location provider based health system

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:

REQUIRED
Valid Driver's license
