Job description
- A related four year engineering degree; related internship experience (if lacking the degree, two years of mechanical engineering design experience for sheet metal or for large components in lieu of a degree will be sufficient will be sufficient); and SolidWorks experience is required
- Start time is 6 am to 7 am and they work 8-hour days Monday through Friday
- Pay is $25 per hour to $28 per hour depending on the experience of the candidate
- Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
- No remote as this is an onsite position

This stable, established yet growing fabrication company is looking to hire a full time, permanent SolidWorks and AutoCAD Mechanical Engineering Designer. Almost all manufacturing is done in-house. Safety is a priority and the company has a family feel. The company cares about the careers of its employees and supports employee career growth. The company has many company events for employees. The engineering department utilizes AutoCAD, AutoCAD Lite, SolidWorks for design and JobBOSS for the ERP software. MasterCAM is used for CNC programming. The company has more business than they can fill. There is a customer order backlog through 2026. To keep up with growth, the company is buying land, adding a building and expanding an existing building.
This position is due to growth and could grow into a senior level position. The successful candidate's duties and responsibilities will encompass the following:
- Utilizing SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Creating unique designs for massive, complex products
- Evaluating costs and manufacturability
The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered:
- A related four year engineering degree and related internship experience (if lacking the degree, two years of mechanical engineering design experience for sheet metal or for large components in lieu of a degree will be sufficient)
- One year of SolidWorks experience
- Possess a solid work history
- Being a US citizen or green card holder
- Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
