Job description
Objective: A Swine Resource Assistant is a talented and driven individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment. This successful, self-starting candidate is critical to achieving our ambitious growth objectives while ensuring the Core Values of Pipestone Veterinary Services and the expectations of our clients are being met every day.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Other duties as assigned):
· Calculate and prepare vaccine orders for swine producers
· Coordinate vaccine orders that need to be picked up or shipped to swine producers
· Provide great attention to detail to help ensure quality service to our clients everyday
· Expand and foster existing clientele and relationships
· Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
· Assist team members as needed with multifaceted tasks
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
· Maintain our unified team through strong communication skills and willingness to assist other team members and departments when necessary
· Drive and desire to achieve results a must
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education: A degree in Animal Science or related field is preferred but not required. Education and experience will be considered.
Experience: 2+ years’ experience, preferably in the agriculture field or demonstrated client interactions
