As a Behavioral Health Consultant, you lead the Autism Treatment Team, offering evaluation, treatment, and consultation services with a family-centered approach. Your role involves creating personalized programs to enhance the lives of children with autism and their families, focusing on improving daily activities and overall function. Emphasizing consistent practice and involving the natural support system, including family and friends, you ensure the skills learned in therapy sessions carry over to real-life situations. Holding yourself accountable for measurable changes, your expertise contributes to a brighter future for children with autism and their families.

Easterseals Central Texas began in 1937 as the Texas Society for Crippled Children. In 1949, a small building was dedicated as the Austin Cerebral Palsy Center serving a small population of Central Texas residents. Almost twenty years later, we became the Capital Area Rehabilitation Center, expanding our services and those served. Today, our mission is to change the way the world defines and views disabilities by making profound, positive differences in people's everyday lives.
