They are at the forefront of pioneering drug delivery technology, keen to bring aboard a Research Associate with a background in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology to bolster our efforts. If you have experience in Western blot and ELISA techniques, along with a knack for handling protein samples, or familiar with PCR, Gibson and Infusion Assembly, we invite you to be part of our journey. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a team of seasoned professionals, contributing actively to various laboratory projects. Immediate opportunity for a Research Associate(Molecular Biology & Biochemistry), who possesses:
- B.S. degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of industry experience, showcasing hands-on expertise in the relevant field.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Western blot and ELISA technique or PCR, Gibson and Infusion Assembly techniques.
- Ability to handle protein samples with precision and care.
- Familiarity with standard lab equipment and data analysis software such as ImageJ, Excel, and GraphPad Prism.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in conducting laboratory experiments, particularly focusing on Western blot and ELISA methodologies for biochemistry role and PCR and Gibson for the molecular role, under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Handle and prepare protein samples meticulously, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the team in the protein expression and purification processes, utilizing established and innovative methods.
- Engage in Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) analyses as and when required, gaining hands-on experience in this analytical technique.
- Participate in various lab duties, including equipment maintenance and document generation, and assist in data analysis as necessary.
- Adapt to the varying needs of the lab, showcasing flexibility and a willingness to assist in different capacities as needed.
Position Offers:
- Base Salary TBD... $70-90K estimate
