Position Description

The Haskell & Irene Lemon Construction Science (CNS) Division at the University of Oklahoma’s (OU) Gibbs College of Architecture (GCA) invites applications for a ranked renewable term faculty (https://apps.hr.ou.edu/facultyhandbook/#3.5.2) 9-month position beginning in January or August 2024.

The successful applicant will join a tight-knit group of faculty who share the mission to prepare students to be leaders in the construction industry by fostering a student-centered, collaborative learning environment that benefits local, state, national and international communities through innovative teaching, research, and service in support of GCA’s strategic plan.

The Division’s significant endowment supports strong leadership, a cadre of passionate and impactful faculty, and a pattern of student success in regional, national, and international competitions. The GCA’s history in helping develop the design+build movement continues today through the program’s balanced approach towards entrepreneurship and hands-on collaborations.
