Job Description
The Digital Marketing team is responsible for leading programs focused on developing excellent relationships with our customers, improving brand awareness and equity, accelerating purchase decisions, driving customer loyalty, and optimizing marketing investment. The Digital Marketing Specialist - Lead Generation will implement campaigns, techniques and technologies and processes to support best-in-class online lead generation and nurturing. This is a centralized position that will report to the Digital Marketing Manager – Lead Generation. This position will collaborate heavily with each of the business marketing teams (Apertures, Surfaces, Shelter, Canada, and Corporate).
Key responsibilities:
- Study and understand customer journey and buying behaviors and support lead generation and nurture campaigns to influence and accelerate those journeys and behaviors
- Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager and business stakeholders to support online lead generation. Responsible for leveraging best practices, creating tools and templates, and defining solutions that meet both near- and long-term objectives
- Support the adoption and enablement of Eloqua, the marketing automation platform. Responsible for training new users and marketing partners
- Support the setup, testing, execution and reporting of lead generation and nurture campaigns, including but not limited to lead scoring, A/B testing, personalization, win-back campaigns, and account-based marketing, to reach target audiences. Responsible for growing and retaining prospects and customers
- Support the marketing automation technical implementation and integration efforts, predominantly executed through an agency model
- Support marketing and sales teams to drive successful lead management practices that result in higher MQLs and SQLs
- Support marketing campaigns to identify growth, challenges, and risks
- Support, implement, and constantly improve the company’s integrated marketing campaigns, test plans, and overall program development while creating new flows, and nurture campaigns for prospects and customers
- Document new automations and nurtures in process maps to ensure business knowledge is transferrable
- Identify trends, best practices, and testing opportunities within Lead Generation
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide perspective for adoption where appropriate
- Coordinate training and develop supporting documentation
- Support other digital marketing activities, such as website testing and content optimization, as needed
- Ensure Data Governance procedures are followed and create a healthy customer data environment for best-in-class automations and personalization
- Collaborate with business units to establish conversational marketing playbooks and create integrated journeys between the chatbot platform and internal platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Technology, or a related field and 5+ years of digital marketing and lead generation experience
- Demonstrable experience in supporting lead generation, nurturing, and management disciplines
- Proven understanding of customer journeys and buying behaviors within the building products manufacturing space a plus
- Experience with enterprise marketing automation platforms, Eloqua preferred
- Displays a strong technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
- Ability to work well and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of an organization
