Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Communications Specialist to join our team. As a Communications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping our organization’s external and internal communications related to IT initiatives. Your ability to craft compelling narratives, manage information dissemination, and foster positive relationships will be key to our success.

Must-Have Skillsets

• PR or Communications background (including a bit of social media knowledge/experience if possible)
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to utilize tools (such as AI tools) to create consistent, quality communications to convey complex information effectively
• Someone with about 3-5 years or so of experience, they are looking for some good energy, fresh ideas, collaboration, and someone to breathe some life into this comms program
• Previous work as a communications specialist in a similar role, preferably for an IT organization

Nice to Have Skillsets 

• Someone with some Sharepoint knowledge who can load basic things into it would be AWESOME
• Some basic photo/video editing skills
• Some experience writing blogs/articles
• Familiarity with Web Design principles and content creation
• Someone who speak fluent French or Spanish would be a HUGE plus (they have to translate everything they do into both Spanish and French based on their workforce)
