About the role
The Peripheral Interventional (PI) division at Boston Scientific is a dynamic and rapidly evolving business that impacts the lives of many patients each year, globally. The vascular portfolio includes multiple product platforms across a wide breadth of technologies and generates more than $1B in annual revenue. Boston Scientific is the market leader across the peripheral vascular with category leading technologies (drug-eluting, atherectomy, balloons, etc.). The business is poised for growth.
The Senior Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving market penetration of our PI Vascular technologies through training, education and clinical proctoring of our physicians, the cath lab staff and our selling organization. This role will target geographies identified as a growth potential for PI Vascular. This individual will be responsible for educating and training the Boston Scientific Sales Force. Initially the focus will be on the thrombectomy and deep venous obstruction market and will expand to focus on the entire vascular portfolio.

Your responsibilities include:
- Spend time in the field to gain market and clinical insights, and build relationships with key physicians to drive education, market adoption and innovation of BSC products.
- Work closely with KOLs to drive awareness of Boston Scientific tools and resources and establish BSC as the PI Vascular partner of choice.
- Collaborate with Marketing colleagues and the R&D team to determine future product portfolio strategy.
- Partnering and working closely with the Medical Education Team to develop and support relevant and timely content that reflects latest clinical and technical approach to PAD.
- Identify and communicate competitive threats and opportunities for the franchise and execute competitive action / response plans.
- In collaboration with Marketing Strategy & Analysis, gather customer and market insights to inform key decisions and marketing strategies.
- Partner with marketing and sales leadership to selectively target key account to visit and industry tradeshows to gain market insight.
- Develop and execute promotional plans to meet franchise strategic objectives, working within budget guidelines/constraints.
- Collaborate with the product managers to lead the Commercial launch execution for the thrombectomy portfolio (mechanical and aspiration platforms) initially and in time for all vascular.
- Drive execution of commercial plan to obtain identified franchise revenue and profitability.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners to launch key products into high growth Regions globally.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in either Business, Engineering, Science, Healthcare/Biomedical.
- 5+ years of medical device marketing experience or commensurate experience
- Experience planning and managing product launches.
- Experience supporting training and the sales team.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships at all organizational levels globally.
- Highly motivated individual with an action-oriented mindset.
- Track record of success leading cross-functionally to develop plans and tools to maximize sales potential.
- Demonstrated experience developing and giving presentations to internal and external customers including sales teams, physicians, cardiovascular service line administrators, and executives.
- Strong communication skills, & ability to directly influence senior leaders.
- Travel up to 50% domestically and globally.
Preferred Experience:
- Advanced degree (Masters/MBA)
