Summary

Working as an extension of our Client Services unit, this role is an extremely hands-on client-facing role. Owning a portfolio of an array of clients, this strategist will work with clients directly on a specific cadence (some weekly, others monthly or bi-weekly).
As the main point of contact in our agency-client relationship, the EMS works to recommend key strategies and approaches to their marketing solutions that will impact their business goals and performance in a positive manner. Responsible for ensuring each channel specialist/strategist is aligned and delivering strong service to their clients. Making recommendations to cross-sell our solutions as see fit, the EMS is responsible for retention and growing their client base.
This role requires an expert level of marketing technology prowess, data analysis, storytelling, and highly effective communication skills, with an entrepreneurial spirit to establish new insights and uncover areas of opportunities for clients.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with DELIVERY (Paid & Organic Specialists) to develop strategies to collect data and conduct analyses to evaluate marketing and consumer experiences for key e-commerce retailers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure we are delivering on the services needed to help them grow.
- Utilize expertise in the measurement and technological capabilities of search, display, social, content, ratings & reviews, and other sources of the consumers’ experience to recommend KPIs and drive analytics best practices.
- Ability to combine disparate data to answer novel questions about performance.
- Leverage our DIS (Data, Insights and Strategy) team to develop and deliver holistic insights to clients: working cross-functionally with the DIS unit when necessary on campaign analytics, marketing mix modeling, brand, and sales lift studies.
- Be able to speak to all aspects of delivery/KPIs across all aspects of paid and Organic (owned media) touchpoints.
- Analyze and present digital media insights to internal and external partners to assist with in-flight optimization recommendations, as well as evaluate overall campaign KPI performance.
- Stay current on the latest tools and industry developments across digital marketing as well as the various digital media channels and provide strategic recommendations when appropriate.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree required – Preferably in communications, marketing, advertising, statistics, or analytics.
- 3+ years of marketing/ ecommerce analytics experience – social media, search, display
- Experience creating and presenting campaign reports and presentations.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines while keeping a professional demeanor.
- Must be an effective negotiator and communicator with internal and external individuals at all levels. This includes spoken, written, and presentation skills. Communication should be consistently constructive and professional.
- Must be a good team player.
- Self-motivated, independent, and proactive
- Familiarity with Data Management Platforms, Web Analytics Tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
