Salary Range
$35.37 - $40.45 plus applicable shift differential

Job Summary
The Central Service Technician is assigned the responsibility for reprocessing reusable medical equipment, sterilization and distribution of medical supplies/equipment.

In addition to performing the essential functions listed below, may also be assigned other duties as required.    

Education Requirements

• High school graduate, required.
• Completion of medical terminology course, preferred.

Work Experience

• 6 months or more experience in an acute care hospital as a Central Supply Technician or O.R. Technician, preferred.

License

• Certification from approved CST or ORT training school, required.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology as it pertains to medical supplies and equipment, required.
