Job description
Responsibilities
•Assist the Project Manager in all aspects from the beginning to the end of the land development process. (ie: shopping centers, auto dealerships, gas stations, amusement parks, and QSR development)
•Preparation of on-site private grading, storm drain, utility plans, earthwork estimates, and construction quantity estimates
•Process plans through respective governmental agencies
•Client and project team communication and coordination
•Preparation of public street, storm drain, sewer, water street lighting, signing and striping improvement plans
•Conceptualizes the initial civil design approach for a major phase of large land/site development, related projects, or has overall responsibility for the civil engineering work on an aforementioned type project of a larger scope
•Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates civil engineering work
•Assist the design and ongoing progress of a project, including the coordination of the project with City, State, and County officials, and other outside agencies
Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science in civil engineering
· Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of California
· Expert in AutoCad / Civil 3D
· Meet demanding deadlines
· Excellent team player
· 2-6 years experience in Land Development IS A MUST
