Job description

101 Insurance Group is seeking an Underwriting Assistant for our Garden Grove, CA office. This is an in-office position. Our ideal candidate is punctual and consistent with a positive attitude.

Bilingual in Korean, Spanish or Vietnamese is preferred. Prior office experience is also preferred.

Job Duties:

• Receive incoming phone calls in a friendly manner and offer customer service
• Helping our underwriter team gather information, process, quote and bind insurance policies
• Uploading, filing and maintaining accurate records for client files
• Perform general office duties (filing, scanning, copying, etc.)
• Provide day to day administrative support as needed
• Function as an effective team member to serve the needs of our clients

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills including typing, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Proven phone and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work in a team environment
