Wholesale Production Technician

Job description
Our company is currently seeking hard-working, reliable and experienced employees with good communication skills, who thrive while working in a team environment, to join our rapidly growing wholesale medical marijuana brands.
The ideal candidate should have experience meeting daily production goals as well as weighing, packaging and labeling products. A successful technician should possess high attention to detail, the ability to adhere to strict SOPs and is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Due to our rapid growth, we are looking only for individuals that can handle changes in processes and a challenging workload
Daily Responsibilities include:
- Work with the Manufacturing team for efficient assembly of wholesale products
- Precision weighing, packaging and labeling finished product while meeting daily production goals
- Ensure all manufacturing processes are followed according to prescribed SOP's while also identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies
- Perform QA/QC review on all product
- Maintain clean work areas and equipment
- Logging weights, counts, and waste on respective tracking sheets
- Shipping and receiving duties: Inspect shipment paperwork and product for accuracy and completeness, receive/unpack items as necessary
- Process order returns and wasted product
- Assist with and actively participate in internal and external inventory and packaged goods audits
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience working in a manufacturing line assembling product by hand
- Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 25 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above.
Specific state regulatory requirements also include verification, confirmation, or completion of the following,
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age
- Must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the Arizona Department of Health Services
- Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of the criminal background check conducted by the Arizona Department of Health Services
- Valid Arizona State Issued ID
Preferred Skills:
- Capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Previous experience in inventory control and distribution
- Detail oriented / analytical thinker with an eye on process optimization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day.
- Ability to focus during repetitive tasks. (Hand and finger dexterity required for extended periods.)
- Strong work ethic
