Job description
One of our manufacturing clients in North York , ON is looking for Industrial Millwright for their facility.
Shift - Days
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of machinery across all shifts; provide detailed reports on equipment performance for smooth shift transitions.
Confidently instruct new hires on machinery maintenance and troubleshooting, and maintain efficient communication with internal and external OEM teams.
Acquire, organize, and coordinate technical data for training programs on both new and existing equipment to ensure safety, quality, and overall efficiency.
Facilitate consistent communication among all mechanics to continuously improve cost-effectiveness and equipment functionality in producing top-quality products.
Fine-tune and calibrate equipment and machinery to meet optimal specifications.
Possess excellent analytical, decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Perform additional facility-related tasks as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
Possess a 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright license.
Hold a minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a licensed mechanic millwright, preferably within the Ophthalmic industry.
Possess either a post-secondary diploma, high school diploma, or technical trade license.
Have in-depth knowledge and troubleshooting proficiency in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics, including automated systems.
Ability to collaborate at multiple levels and function within cross-functional teams.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have experience with automation integration and troubleshooting.
Knowledgeable in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Exhibit high self-motivation, with a commitment to being a team player and a desire for continuous learning.
