Job description

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Insurance & Risk Analyst to join our team, responsible for a range of analytical activities supporting our Insurance Operations and Risk Management. As an integral member of our team, you will lead processes involving data gathering, analysis, and reporting to enhance our understanding of risk factors within our insurance product line. Your insights will drive strategic decision-making aimed at fostering profitable growth while ensuring effective risk mitigation solutions. This role will involve collaboration with internal departments, vendors, and providing exceptional customer support as needed.

Essential Functions:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of our insurance product line, identifying trends and areas for improvement to enhance profitability.
- Collaborate with leadership, Fleet Management Services (FMS), and Risk Control teams to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies, providing insightful analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage lease physical damage drivers' Motor Vehicle Reporting (MVR), assessing driver qualifications and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
- Oversee the placement and management of Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Insurance coverage, including sales guidance, marketing, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and customers to provide loss run reporting, profitability analysis, and education on insurance product line solutions.
- Partner with the Certificate of Insurance (COI) team and Stop Loss in managing pre-default processes for lease customers.
- Conduct regular reviews of processes, tools, and reports to ensure compliance and profitability of our insurance product line.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Support other areas of Risk Management and Insurance Accounting as needed.
- Assist Lease Underwriting with customer insurance renewals and risk evaluation.
- Participate in internal/external meetings and presentations regarding insurance product line solutions.
- Manage and process incoming digital mail related to Risk Management, Insurance Operations, and Claims.
- Support growth initiatives for the insurance product line through collaboration with department and marketing teams.
- Maintain departmental documentation and shared drives.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience:
- Three to five years or more in finance, analyst, or insurance roles within a risk management or insurance environment.

Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong customer relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to research and problem solve effectively.

Licenses:
- 440 or 220 or ARM, CPCU, CRM, or equivalent, completed within 1 year preferred.

Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range: $73K to $83K depending on experience.
