At Allen Edmonds, our Assistant Managers provide support for all store activities, in partnership with the Store Manager. In this role, you will support the Sales Associate team, execute product placement, uphold in-store visual merchandising standards and create an environment representative of our premium brand experience. Compensation & Hours Starting salary is $21.76/hour - $27.20/hour There is the opportunity to expand your earnings with uncapped commissions. Final compensation can vary based on guaranteed hourly earnings and opportunity for commission-based earnings in each pay period. We offer flexible schedules What You’ll Be Doing Be a Champion for Team Sales Goals. Assist in coaching Sales Associates to ensure their sustained success in their sales performance and overcoming obstacles. Partner with the Store Manager to develop action plans for team to build on success. Help Develop the Team’s Professional Development Mindset. Lead Sales Associate training and skill reinforcement in customer service standards, product knowledge and sales techniques. Uphold Visual Merchandising Standards. Regularly walking the sales floor with team members, using the Allen Edmonds visual merchandising guidelines to ensure standards are being met and maintained. Lead Quarterly Events. Spearhead local quarterly events including in-store experiences, email campaign and collaborative events to increase store traffic and sales. Find Sales Opportunities. Regularly review sales results and store KPIs with Store Manager, to find areas of opportunity within forecasting for business impact and improvements. Perks You’ll Enjoy! Experience in leading, training and developing associates preferred. Demonstrated ability to set goals and prioritize objectives to meet and exceed stated goals, required. Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours, required. Ability to stand for prolonged periods time and use step stools and/or ladders of varying sizes to reach inventory in stock room, required. Must possess solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and proprietary software.
