Job description
A Virtual Reservations Specialist handles reservations and bookings for various services or events from a remote location, often working from home or another off-site location. The primary responsibilities of a Virtual Reservations Specialist include:
Key Responsibilities: - Reservation Management: Handling bookings and reservations for hotels, flights, rental cars, or other travel-related services.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by assisting clients with inquiries, changes, or cancellations and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Event Booking: Securing reservations for events, conferences, meetings, or other gatherings.
- Sales: Upselling additional services or products, such as room upgrades, travel insurance, or event packages.
- Communication: Interacting with clients and customers through various communication channels, such as phone, email, or text messages.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of bookings, reservations, and customer interactions.
- Payment Processing: Handling payment transactions, issuing invoices, and ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately.
- Knowledge of Systems: Familiarity with booking systems, online platforms, and relevant software to efficiently manage reservations and bookings. Benefits:
