| POSITION Support Desk Technician Intern (3 positions)



| LOCATION Butler Tech's Fairfield Township Campus, D Russel Lee Building



| GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Support Desk Technician will be one of the primary technicians for students' technology needs at D. Russel Lee and School of the Arts. Interns will respond to "tickets" generated either from walk-up requests or online through the ticketing system.
Interns will work between 8 and 20 hours a week. A schedule will be established at the start of the internship between the student, the counseling office, and IT staff.
Internships run from September to April.



| QUALIFICATIONS

• Current Fairfield Township Campus student;
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking relevant to the position;
• Strong oral and written communication skills;
• Willingness/ability to work as a team member;
• Ability to provide customer service, document progress, organize, prioritize, problem-solve, think critically, and exercise professional judgement;
• History of good attendance.
