SAIC has an immediate opening for a Policy Analyst supporting the Headquarters Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration (AF/A10). Work will be performed in the Arlington, VA area (Pentagon).
Responsibilities include:
- Provide support to AF/A10 Nu clear Oversight Council (NOC) Executive Secretariat team, to include planning, administration and execution of all NOC and NOC-related meetings
- Coordinate meetings, to include agenda development, scheduling, and clearance management
- Develop briefings, read ahead packages, and presentations for senior Air Force leadership
- Draft after action reports and track action items resulting from NOC-related meetings
- Draft and coordinate staff packages for review and approval
Qualifications
Required Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree and six or more years of related experience or Master’s Degree and four years of related experience
Required Experience/Skills:
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office products
- Knowledge of Department of Defense organizations and functions
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of Air Force organization and processes
- Familiarity with SharePoint and Task Management Tool
