What You’ll Do: As a Senior Business Analyst/Product Analyst, you will provide essential support to USCIS software applications by leveraging Agile best practices and incorporating product development principles.
Who We Are Looking For: I am looking for a Senior Business Analyst/Product Analyst who is passionate about solving problems to create products and services that users love.
Required Qualifications: - BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- US Citizenship per contract requirement
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
- 3+ years of experience serving as a business analyst on software development projects
- Demonstrated experience leading requirements gathering sessions, analyzing business flows, and documenting user needs
- Experience with Jira
- Must be willing and able to work EST hours
Key Responsibilities: Business Skills
- Provide detailed, comprehensive, testable, and traceable business requirements in a number of formats, including but not limited to:
- Collaborate with product owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to elicit and refine business requirements
- Write user stories, technical tasks, and acceptance criteria
- Elicit and articulate use cases and business rules
- Clearly communicate business processes at all levels
- Ensure that business requirements are aligned with the overall product vision and strategy
Agile Implementation Skills
- Facilitate the team in following an agile development process, such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
- Help the team to break down business requirements into smaller, more manageable tasks
- Encourage the team to use iterative and incremental development practices
- Remove roadblocks and impediments to the team's progress
Product Analyst Skills
- Support the product roadmap by aligning product iterations in a manner that supports the strategic vision
- Plan for and showcase value delivery for the business stakeholders with each iteration
- Provide subject matter expertise and consultation as necessitated by the business
- Conduct analyses necessary to support strategic development and decision-making
Preferred Experience: - ServiceNow experience
- User Research Experience

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
