The Manager of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for planning, facilitating, and leading Groundworks’ convenings, networking, and collaborations with strategic partners across the New Mexico social sector. This work is housed within our newly launched Social Sector Institute’s Center for Strategic Partnerships. The Manager of Strategic Partnerships will plan, host, and facilitate convenings, strategy tables, affinity group meetings, and funder member meetings with a goal of uniting New Mexico’s social sector so that we can find and fill the gaps to help solve New Mexico’s greatest challenges.

Other duties include external, administrative backbone support for community projects, membership engagement, membership data management, participation in local/national convenings and learning spaces, assisting with grant applications; grant/project monitoring and reporting, providing content for GNM member news, participating in organizational strategic planning, and helping to plan and host Groundworks’ annual conference. This position involves collaborating with diverse stakeholders, Groundworks staff, and consultants, as well as interacting with members and the public. Must actively participate in centering racial equity into our culture, practices, and work.

The Manager of Strategic Partnerships will be a strong project owner who values relationships, organization, process, and results as key drivers of their projects. They will stay abreast of local/national social sector issues and trends and bring new ideas from the field. We seek an individual who is willing to have their assumptions challenged, be open to change, and commit themselves to our internal and external work centering racial equity into our culture, practices, and work. The ideal candidate must be able to function independently with minimal supervision, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and be a reliable and contributing member of a small team. This position reports to the Executive Director.

General

· Demonstrate leadership within the organization and community

· Participate in weekly staff meetings

· Maintain membership data in Salesforce CRM

· Support key partners and represent Groundworks by attending strategic meetings and events

· Contribute content to newsletters and GNM social media

· Help edit and maintain website content (GNM also has outside IT and web developer support)

Strategic Collaboration; Funder Learning and Networking

· Work with consultants, stakeholders, organizations, and other facilitators in support of convenings and meetings, rolling out collaborative projects, and producing reports

· Host and lead high-level, multi-stakeholder convenings online and in-person; plan and draft meeting agenda and take minutes; schedule meetings and disseminate meeting materials

· Draft project budgets

· Must see and present big picture across NM social sector to help identify and fill in programmatic and funding gaps, as well as to identify sector overlaps

· Align partners on strategic objectives

· Regularly communicate with partners on plans and progress; help define roles and responsibilities

· Support landscape surveys and other critical sector research that GNM commissions

Membership & Data Management

· Increase member engagement, particularly amongst funder members

· Educate members and prospective members on our vision, mission, values, and value propositions

· Provide administrative support for member meetings and convenings

· Support member communication and follow-up, as well as regular membership data management in Salesforce for your key contacts
