Aeroseal Needs a Collections Specialist! THIS POSITION IS ON-SITE, NO REMOTE.

The Role

The collection specialist will own the overall collection process including monitoring aged accounts, ensuring appropriate internal contacts needed are properly engaged, and setting / achieving goals to improve the timeliness of collections. For specific accounts, the collection specialist will contact customers via email and phone to work through any issue preventing payment.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities

• Leads the debt collection process for assigned customers.
• Contacts customers by phone, email, and mail to recover past due amounts.
• Keeps detailed notes and records of all communications and actions.
• Investigates disputes and follows up with customers.
• Leads Business Unit meetings to review aged accounts and determine appropriate collection strategy.
• Other duties as assigned to achieve team and company objectives.

Required Experience/Skills

• Works well independently and has strong organization skills.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Excellent at customer service and negotiation while staying calm and professional.
• Excellent phone etiquette.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of Salesforce and NetSuite is preferred, but not required. Must be able to proficiently learn the use of these systems.
