Gentle Dental is currently looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team at our office located in Thorndale, Pennsylvania 19372. This is a full-time position with flexibility in the schedule. Part-time will also be considered.

Our office is located in the Kohl's shopping center, across from Applebee's. The office is in a great area that's a short drive to Philadelphia. In addition to ample parking, our location is convenient to shopping areas and restaurants (great for lunch breaks!).

Previous experience is always nice but we welcome n ew grads to apply as well. We have hygiene coaches for support and mentor-ship and they will ensure you have what you need. The hygienist we hire must have an active Pennsylvania hygiene license (recent grads must be applying for license soon).

Our well established family dental practice has 10 operatory offices and offers full-service dentistry to patients of all ages under one roof. With our team of friendly and experienced dentists, we offer a wide range of dental services from cosmetic dentistry to orthodontics and implants. 

• Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times 
• Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
• Patient screening, medical history and dental charting. 
• Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. 
• Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease. 
• Other duties as assigned

• Active Hygiene license for the state of Pennsylvania
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
