CARROLLTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS
DIRECTOR OF GRANTS, ASSESSMENT, DATA, AND TECHNOLOGY
(Full-time – 260 days per year/52 weeks)
SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Director of Grants, Assessment, Data, and Technology of Carrollton Public Schools will be responsible for the overall management, oversight, and development of programming utilizing State and Federal grants and funding while seeking and obtaining grants to support new programs. This position will coordinate technology efforts by overseeing the district’s phone systems, online curriculum applications, systems, and integration projects of new systems and applications. This position is also responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the assessment and data needs of the District at large.

COMPENSATION: $75,000 – $85,000 (based on education and experience) – Full benefits
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in school administration.
Minimum of three years of successful administrative experience (preferred).
Demonstrated ability to write and obtain grants.
Must have a working knowledge of technology, such as multi-line telephone systems, computers/Chromebooks, and other classroom technology.
Must have demonstrated educational leadership.
Must have Effective communication and public relations skills.
Must be able to work effectively with individuals and facilitate teams.
Evidence of innovation and solutions-based thinking.
Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, central office, school-based staff, students, parents, and community members.
Must have knowledge of curriculum, instruction, organizational patterns, school operations, and pupil services.
Knowledge of learning theory, research-based and evidence-based educational practices, and current trends in education.
Must possess high levels of proficiency in Google and Microsoft applications.
Must receive a satisfactory response to P.A. 189 letter. (Misconduct Law)
Must satisfactorily pass:
Law enforcement background checks with fingerprinting
Personal and professional reference background check.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees all state and district assessments (SAT, PSAT NMSQT, PSAT 10, PSAT 8/9, M-STEP, WIDA, Mi-Access, and NWEA), including technology system preparation, scheduling, data entry, professional learning, and verification processes required by MDE.
Responsible for compiling all data for the district and building MTSS/MICIP leadership meetings via the BAA, MiSchool Data, Munetrix, NWEA, College Board, and Skyward.
Responsible for calculating growth data for teacher evaluation.
Responsible for working with principals to report data to MDE, such as 21f enrollments/costs, ESSER funds, alternative education, and 35a.
Attend and participate in local, regional, and state meetings and conferences to keep abreast of current research on best assessment practices and programs.
Manages all aspects of the Consolidated Application for Title I, Title II, and Title IV, including budget planning with building leaders, application submission, spending approvals, and program documentation.
Collaborates with the SISD on the Title III Consortium application and works with the EL Consultant to identify program needs.
Manages all aspects of Section 31A allocation, including student identification, spending approvals, PARs/semi-annual certifications, program documentation, and the submission of the APFR.
Responsible for all other state and federal grants the district receives, such as remaining COVID-related grants (ESSER III & Section 11t), 35a Early Literacy, 35J Early Literacy, 99g Accessible Period Products, Section 97 Safety, Section 31aa Mental Health, 23g Expanded Learning Time and ARP II Homeless.
Will serve as the district McKinney-Vento Homeless Liaison and Foster Care Liaison, identifying students, forming transportation agreements, spending approvals, and providing professional learning for staff.
Attend local and state conferences to stay current on state and federal program updates through MASFPS, MDE, SISD, and other organizations.
Serve as a mentor for all building principals when they need support.
SCECH Coordinator for Carrollton Public Schools, including submission of CPS Year Long DPPD plan in MOECS, maintaining documentation of DPPD agendas, sign-ins, and SCECH passports, as well as uploading of SCECHs for all teachers.
Serves as the school district’s contact for all technology-related communication.
Acts as liaison between the school district and SISD on all aspects of technology, including but not limited to envisioning, planning, and implementing the district’s 1:1 Chromebook program, classroom technology, and other district needs.
Collaborates with the SISD’s technology department to troubleshoot issues with systems, applications, and technology replacement and purchasing.
Supports teachers with all online curricular resources such as Clever, IXL, and Reflex Math.
Manages Safe Schools Courses for all district staff annually and communicates with principals regarding non-completion of courses.
Present annual district assessment data to the Carrollton School Board.
