Team’s Work Schedule: In office M-F 8am-5pm

This position is responsible for analyzing and processing our freight expenses to ensure we are billed accurately, that we pay valid charges in a timely manner, and that we bring insights into the business about these expenses. This will be done by coordinating both internally and externally with partners to thoroughly understand and validate invoices, by stabilizing current process and tools, and by proactively identifying and developing areas of improvement in logistics operations, processes, and tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•       Review in detail all invoices received from multiple trucking and ocean freight vendors to validate accuracy of charges
•       Work with vendors to gather all necessary information to review and validate charges
•       Upload and process invoices in SAP, troubleshoot when necessary, and work closely with Accounting department to ensure payments are made accurately timely
•       Provide recurring and ad-hoc reporting to management
•       Develop new reporting to provide insights about expenses to the business that drive meaningful change
•       Monitor account balances, track expenses, prepare analysis on a weekly/monthly basis
•       Develop and maintain accurate files and financial records according to company standards
•       Provide support to internal customers and external vendors in regards to all aspects of accounts payable
•       Direct and oversee internal partners and drive improvements in ongoing logistics cost management, reporting, and analysis

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
•       Bachelors or equivalent degree of experience
•       General knowledge of logistics operations from factory to customer distribution center
•       Analytical mindset, ability to distill meaning and insights from data
•       Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and has the ability to meet tight deadlines
•       Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy in the details
•       Excellent verbal and written communication
•       Comfortable reviewing large amounts of detailed information and determining what it says about the business
•       Able to find areas for improvement and develop solutions for them in new tools and processes
•       Systems Experience: SAP, Excel (highly proficient), other Microsoft Office programs (primarily Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
•       Can work with minimum supervision
