Kelly is hiring Assemblers for Jabil in St. Petersburg!

Assembler

Pay Rate: $16.00 an hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday,

Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM plus over time

Position Scope and Summary :

The Assembler will be working in an Electronic Manufacturing environment assembling camera systems and related peripherals. The work will be performed from oral and written instructions including mechanical drawings, work instructions, and wiring diagrams. Tools used will be calibrated torque drivers and hand tools.

Key Responsibilities :

Mechanical assembly, disassembly and packaging of video cameras.

Visual inspection of product to root out material defects on parts before finished product is moved to shipping.

Minimum Requirements:

Strong Mechanical aptitude and prior experience in Mechanical assembly processes, preferably in electronics assembly. (6 month to 1 years minimum)

Ability to work with multiple hand and Power/Battery operated tools.

Able to read and work from mechanical drawings and work instructions. (Instructions are in English)

Learn multiple processes, cross-trainable to support multiple product lines. Ability to work with limited supervision, self-motivated & results orientated.

Well organized, with attention to detail.

Ability to work and support production requirements and meet deadlines.

Ensure high quality work is performed with repeatability and reliability.

Able to perform within a team and adapt to a diverse cultural work group.

Good moral character and able to fit into the company culture.

Excellent communication skills

Experience Requirements:

2-5 years of work-related experience in the electronics industry or related field.

Experience of working in a team orientated manufacturing environment.

Knowledgeable and capable of working in an ESD environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are expected.

Quick learner with ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.

Must be able to work with light fabrication equipment.

Must be able to operate torque equipment.

Good hand dexterity.

Solder Experience a plus.

Education Requirements:

Must have a High school diploma or GED to be converted to full time
