Business Development Manager - onsite/Alpharetta, GA 30009
Salary: $80,000 salary + uncapped commission
Location: onsite in Alpharetta *must live up to 30 minutes away*
Structured Office Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday, with two 15-minute breaks and 1-hour lunch.
Position Summary The Business Development Manager will be responsible for hunting new business. The Results-oriented professional with a focus on prospecting, qualifying, presenting, securing, and growing new accounts. Strategic targeting of untapped markets and verticals. Expertise in nurturing long-term relationships and converting warm leads into new business. Proven ability to establish a strong presence in niche markets.
Job Requirements & Qualifications - Drive reseller sales and post-sales service throughout the entire sales cycle.
- Utilize direct (LinkedIn, web search) and indirect methods (networking, trade shows) for prospecting.
- Build relationships and suggest tailored solutions based on specific store needs.
- Execute 75-100 dials daily, engaging with at least 30 decision-makers, audited weekly.
- Implement dynamic sales methods: phone, video, email, field visits, webinars, showcase days.
- Draft, present, and close deals with senior managers and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with business development representatives for lead generation strategies.
- Manage daily sales pipeline updates, forecasting likely deals and annual sales volumes.
Requirement: - Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
- Prior experience selling to distributors and dealers.
- High call volume in business development roles.
- Prior trade shows sales are highlight preferred.
- Experience in print-graphics & funeral channels is a plus.
- Successful selling of tangible products (equipment and consumables) and "Added Value" Prop Selling solutions.
- Ability to sell "return on investment."
- Experience with Pipedrive or other CRM systems.
- Understanding of PandaDoc: Proposal quoting software for deal quotes and closure, preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
