Summary/Objective:


The Application Development Manager owns the design, development, deployment, and support of web sites, web applications, API platforms, and integrations with core banking and lending systems for the credit union. They maintain and enhance a service-oriented architecture that can support the data needs of applications while also enabling the integration of Elevation's siloed core banking, lending, marketing, MRM, BI, and digital platforms. This individual will enhance team's capabilities to design, develop, monitor and support custom applications deployed to cloud environments and execute our hybrid cloud strategy.

Required Skills, Education and Experience:


• 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience; B.S., Computer Science preferred.


• Six (6)+ years of hands-on application development and application integration experience.


• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, deploy, and maintain a pragmatic, modern web application in a production cloud environment.


• Demonstrated capability in leading and overseeing teams responsible for deploying applications on prominent cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).


• Practical experience in establishing CI/CD pipelines for the automation of application deployment and testing procedures.


• Ability to influence executive leadership.


• Understands the principles of project management practices in an agile and iterative project management methodology.


Preferred Skills, Education and Experience:


• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.


• Advanced experience integrating microservices architecture with legacy systems.


• Direct involvement in utilizing containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.


• Proficiency in using Infrastructure as Code(IaC) tools. i.e., Terraform, ARM templates or PowerShell scripting.


• Experience with server-side languages. i.e., NodeJS, SQL, JavaScript, and web services i.e., REST, JSON, XML, SOAP.


• Relevant certifications from cloud providers, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.


• Knowledge and experience with IBM's AIX operating system, Jack Henry & Associates (Symitar division) products including Episys and related (PowerOn) development.


• Knowledge of the ITIL framework and experience implementing engineering processes, procedures, and templates.


Work Environment:


Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.


Physical Requirements:


Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Full time / 40 hours per week

Compensation Information:


The person hired into this position will likely earn between $110,331.31 and $151,705.55 plus annual bonus.


Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.


Anticipated Application Window:


This role is anticipated to close within 35 days from the date of posting. However, if the position has not been filled, Elevations may keep the application period open longer.
