QUALIFICATIONS

YOUR DAY AS A SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAM COORDINATOR

When you join the Pathways to Recovery program as a Substance Abuse Program Coordinator, you take charge of implementing this program designed for adults affected by opioid use. Your role involves crafting comprehensive job exploration counseling, workplace readiness training, and guiding participants on training opportunities. You manage program budgets with precision and engage stakeholders, from employers to schools. Facilitating referrals to assessment services and contributing to participant support by developing employment plans and ensuring the delivery of necessary services is an essential responsibility. Timely documentation and effective communication with stakeholders, including monthly reports to the Workforce Development Board of Northwest New Jersey, are also key aspects of this impactful role.

This full-time management position requires regular travel in Morris, Sussex, and Warren Counties, New Jersey.
