Job Summary
As the Exercise Science Instructor you may teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as applicable; be involved in course and/or curriculum development; conduct research/scholarship; participate on College and University committees and/or initiatives; and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description Typical duties may included but are not limited to:
- Teaches load of 12 contact hours per semester of undergraduate/graduate courses.
- Community, institutional and professional service in furtherance of FGCU's mission is expected of all faculty.
- Other duties may be assigned by the chair.
Additional Job Description Required Qualifications - Master's degree in Exercise Science, or related health profession from a regionally accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications - Doctorate degree in Exercise Physiology or related health profession from a regionally accredited institution. Previous teaching experience in an Exercise Science program or similar.
- Advanced certification in Exercise Science through the American College of Sports Medicine (ASCM) or National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Experience or commitment to engaged learning & teaching. Interest in collaborating both within and outside the University in the development and delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning. Must value continued scholarship and service to the school and university.
